Pastor or Celebrant
This ceremony gives couples an opportunity to express their love in their own way. Couples can create their own vows or let us provide assistance in tradition/informal Christian way . Unlike Buddhist or Thai civil ceremonies, this symbolic event lets the bride and groom exchange vows, rings and--most importantly--kisses.
Usually, the celebrant will read the marriage vows and whatever other material is provided by the couple,
and then pronounce them husband and wife. We can provide a decorative wedding certificate, but it has no legal validity in Thailand or elsewhere.
Legal
marriage in Thailand
Couples who want a civil wedding on Koh Samui will need to spend one day in Bangkok in order to prepare the official documents required by the Thai government and the relevant foreign embassies.
The procedure involves several steps:
Six–10 working days prior to the wedding date is required in order to give us enough time to process all necessary documentation and translation. Once the couple arrives in Bangkok, they should contact our team to arrange the meeting at the appropriate embassy. Our staff will meet the couple at the embassy to pick up the sworn statements which have been endorsed and stamped by the relevant Consul. At this point, the couple is free to leave for Koh Samui. .
Our Bangkok staff then takes the consular and supporting documents for official translation and then on to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for verification and endorsement. When completed, the documents will be couriered to Koh Samui
Once the documents have arrived here, we’ll make an appointment with the local City Hall official in charge of weddings and present the documents to be certified for accuracy.
During the ceremony, the local official will ask the bride and groom to state their names, professions and whether they’ve made a petition for marriage. After hearing the appropriate answers to his questions (we will be on hand to act as translator), he automatically certifies the marriage and issues duplicate his and hers marriage certificates decorated with conch shells and flowers. The marriage certificate is in Thai but we will arrange for a notarized translation to be sent on later.
This registration process is separate from any religious or spiritual ceremony; therefore, the paperwork must usually be done in the ceremony.
A marriage will be valid under Thai law when it is officially registered with Thai authorities. A valid Thai marriage will then be recognized as a valid marriage in most other countries. If you do not properly register a marriage performed in Thailand with Thai authorities, you are not legally married, either in Thailand or your home country.

Elephant
Treking
It is similar to walking down the aisle, except
that the aisle is 150 meters long and instead of walking,
you are riding an elephant!!
The
procession of 10-12 Thai people dressed in traditional
attire begins at the entrance of the resort. At the
front are two flower girls strewing the blossoms on
the driveway. (Nieces and nephews of the bridal couple
have been known to stand in for flower girls!!) Then
followed by the traditional musicians and dancers, then
a huge and beautifully decorated elephant come after
the procession.
The
groom can either await his bride at the ceremony are or ride
with his prospective spouse on the elephant. Sometimes
the bride rides alone on the elephant or accompanied
by her father. When the procession reaches at the ceremony
area, everyone usually takes time out for the best shots.
(If the groom is not already on the elephant, he usually
gets on the elephant to take the pictures).
Guests then proceed to the venue chosen for the ceremony,
while musicians and dancers lead the bridal pair separately.
En route, the pair will encounter two symbolic “gates”
(made by stringing gold chain across the path). This
replicates an ancient Thai village tradition wherein
grooms had to pay a ceremonial “toll” to pass through
the gate ad take their brides to the temple.

Hot Air Ballon/ Fire Work
Sky Lantern are traditional Thai hot air lanterns, made from thin tissue paper and bamboo. The hot air is provided by a burning paper wick soaked in lamp oil.
In Northern Thailand, the Sky Lanterns are known as "Khoom Loy". Traditional Northern Thai people use Sky Lanterns all year round, for Spiritual celebrations and other special occasions such as wedding, one particular festival, the Loi Kratong festival or Yipeng Lantern festival in which; couples and loved ones gather on the riverbanks to float handmade flower arrangements (Kratong), and release 'Khom Loy' together. It is considered good luck to release a ''Khom Loy', as many Thai people, they are symbolic of your problems and worries floating away. It is tradition to offer the lanterns to Temples and monks, as givers believe they will receive enlightenment in return, as the flame of the lantern is said to symbolize wisdom. The lantern's light shows them to the 'right path'.
Back to now a day Sky Lanterns, adapted to used generously in many occasions to be the symbol of good luck, to entertain, light up the atmosphere or convey their wishes to Heaven.
